ABOUT CANONSPHERE LAW REVIEW

CANONSPHERE LAW REVIEW is a peer-reviewed online legal journal committed to publishing high-quality scholarship on contemporary legal issues. Our journal allows academics, practitioners, and students to contribute to legal discourse and promote critical analysis of legal developments worldwide. We invite submissions from legal scholars, practitioners, and students on topics related to [areas of law covered, e.g., constitutional law, international law, corporate law, human rights, etc.].

CALL FOR PAPERS

Canonsphere Law Review invites submissions for its upcoming issue, i.e., Volume 2, Issue 2 (April–June, 2026). The journal has successfully published its previous issues, namely Volume 1, Issue 1 (October–December, 2024), Volume 2, Issue 1 (2025), Volume 2, Issue 2 (2025), and Volume 2, Issue 3 (2025), all of which are available on the website.

THEMES

          1. FinTech Regulation & Digital Banking
          2. Corporate Governance & ESG Compliance
          3. Regulation of Generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude etc.)
          4. Digital Evidence & E- Courts
          5. Geopolitics & International Legal Order

ELIGIBILITY

Students pursuing bachelors or masters, advocates, academicians, professors, legal professionals, etc.

TYPES OF SUBMISSIONS

          1. Long Article: 4,000 – 10,000 words (excluding footnotes)
          2. Short Article: 1,500 – 3000 words
          3. Case Commentary: 1,500 – 2,500 words (with table)
          4. Legislative Comment: 1,500 – 4,000 words
          5. Blogs/Short Note: 1,000 – 2,500 words
          6. Book Review: 1,500 – 3,000 words

FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS

          1. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)
          2. Font Style: Times New Roman
          3. Font Size: Topic Name – 16, Headings – 14, Subheadings & Body – 12-point size (main text); 10-point size (footnotes).
          4. Line spacing: 1.5 for text, single-spaced for footnotes
          5. Citation Style: Bluebook (21st ed.)

ORIGINALITY & PLAGIARISM POLICY

          1. Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
          2. The journal follows strict anti-plagiarism policies; any detected plagiarism (more than the limit) will result in rejection..
          3. Plagiarism shall not exceed 20%. AI shall not exceed 10%

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

          1. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
          2. Submit your manuscript via the link given below with the subject line “Submission – [Title of Paper – Type of Submission]”. For Example, Submission – Cybersecurity and AI – Long Article.
          3. Include a short abstract (250–300 words) and a list of 5 keywords along with Table of Contents.

PERKS AND PUBLICATION

          1. Selected submissions will be published on the Canonsphere Law Review website upon successful peer review and completion of the registration process.
          2. The author(s) will get a Soft Copy of the Certificate of Publication.
          3. The best ones will be mentioned in our monthly newsletter.

DEADLINE

15th June, 2026

PUBLICATION PROCESS

Upon acceptance of your manuscript, the applicable publication fee must be paid. Once the payment has been processed, the manuscript will be returned for revision, if required, to address any identified errors. Authors will be granted one week to submit the revised version, after which the manuscript will move forward to publication.
