How to Submit

Note: In case of any difficulty in filling the submission form, the authors can submit their manuscript via email with a declaration to the following effect:

DECLARATION

I/we declare that the manuscript is an original and previously unpublished work written by me/us. I/we would be solely responsible for any dispute arising out of my/our manuscript including copyright, defamation, objectionable content or contempt and agree to suffer the loss, if any, caused by violating copyright or any other rights.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES 

The Canon Sphere Law Review  invites original, unpublished manuscripts from all academicians, authors, legal professionals and Law students in the following categories:

  1. Long Articles – 4000 to 10000 Word limit
  2. Short Articles – 1500 to 3000 Word limit
  3. Case comments – 1500 to 2500 (With table)
  4. Book review – 1500 to 3000
  5. Short Notes/Blogs – 1000 to 2500
  6. Legislative Comments (Act Brief) – 1500 to 4000

FORMATTING GUIDELINES

  • An appropriate Title must be mentioned in the cover page of the submission. The

Title should be font type- Times New Roman and font size-16.

  • The submission should not contain any biographical information of the author throughout the manuscript.
  • The body of the text must be submitted in font type- Times New Roman, font size- 12.
  • The footnotes must be font type- Time New Roman, font size 10.
  • The Line Spacing of the main text and footnotes must be 1.5 and 1 respectively.
  • Use of Headings and Subheadings is encouraged throughout the text-
  • Title of Paper-Capital, Bold, Font Size-16, Times New Roman
  • Headings: Centre Aligned, Bold, and Font Size- 14, Font Type- Times New Roman, with Roman Numbering.
  • Subheadings: Justified Alignment, Bold, Font Size – 12 and Font Type- Times New Roman.
  • Footnotes and citations are to be followed as per the format of Harvard BlueBook 20th Edition Citation.
  • All submissions are subject to peer review and modification as per the journal style sheet.
  • The final decision of the Editorial Board, regarding publication of the article shall be final.

Guidelines for Book Review:-

The authors for the Book Review must reflect the following details and in the order specified below:

  • Name of the Author
  • Title of Book Reviewed
  • Place of Publication
  • Publisher
  • Year of Publication
  • Number of Pages with Binding specification such as paperback or hardbound.
  • The Word Limit must be 1500-2000 words and must be chapter wise.
