Dr. Sangeeta Taak is an Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab since 2007, specializing in Consumer Protection Laws, International Criminal Law, Human Rights, and Refugee Law. She has authored various research papers in international and national journals and a book on International Criminal Law. Dr. Taak has contributed e-content on several legal subjects for the MOOC on Sociology and Gender, Environment Law, and Policies on EPG Pathshala, as well as on International Humanitarian Law for IGNOU and ICRC, New Delhi. She has participated in several esteemed programs, including the IIDH Strasbourg summer program in France on International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, and a five-day training program by the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law, both sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Sonal Gupta is an Advocate practicing before the Supreme Court of India and multiple High Courts, including the Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab & Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Allahabad High Courts. Known for her strategic legal acumen, she specializes in NDPS Act cases, property disputes, constitutional law, commercial transactions, and arbitration.
